Medical Insurance Claims & Appeals: Do you know what to do?

Do you want to file a medical insurance claim or an appeal?

On Mondays between 10 am – 2 pm (30 minute appointments), Senior Center volunteer Cynthia will help you organize your questions for Medicare, your health care supplement plan, and/or your prescription drug supplement plan.

You should bring a single folder or envelope with as much information as you have. 

· Health insurance cards

· Receipts

· Contact information for your doctor and the specialists

· Hospital information, including diagnoses and treatments involved

· Anything else that you believe will be helpful

If possible, create a chronological timeline of the dates involved.
