It’s extremely important to review your options EVERY year to make sure you have the plan that works best for you for next year. Some Medicare regulation changes related to the Inflation Reduction Act will go into effect for 2023, so it is more important than ever to review your options.
At the time of your appointment, you should have your:
· Medicare account Username and Password (if you have an account)
· Medicare card number and other drug/health insurance cards and benefit information
· Prescription drug list (dosage, quantity, frequency)
Trained SHINE volunteers offer free, confidential counseling on all aspects of health insurance to anyone on Medicare. For Medicare related matters (other than an appointment), call 1-800-243-4636. Once you get the SHINE answering machine, leave your name, town, and number. A volunteer will call you back, as soon as possible.
